THIS EVENT IS AT THE ROSE AND ALFRED MINIACI PERFORMING ARTS CENTER AN AFFILIATED VENUE OF BROWARD CENTER FOR THE PERFORMING ARTS ON THE NOVA SOUTHEASTERN UNIVERSITY CAMPUS.

This unique event CID 8th Annual World Congress on Dance Research promotes a healthy lifestyle in 'Healing Through Dance'.

Within the framework of the International Dance Council (CID) and in cooperation with partners from around the world, promotes world peace & an exchange of culture and development. All forms of dance are represented: Ballet, Modern, Folklore, Ballroom, Oriental, Therapeutic, Argentine Tango, Kathak, Konpa Direct, Recreational, Contemporary, Hip-hop, Aerial Gymnastic, Revival etc.

The congress is organized by the HALLANDALE SECTION OF CID-UNESCO, in collaboration with SanSara, the Executive Secretariat of the CID at UNESCO, Paris. It is placed under the auspices of the municipalities, The Broward County Division of Cultural Affairs, the National UNESCO Commission as well as the board of County Commissioners.  Hallandale Section of CID UNESCO Inc is a 501(c) (3) non-profit organization.
